We are very sorry to announce the closure of Shannons as of today. Despite repeated efforts to negotiate a lease with Lexin and paying the rent on time they have finally given us notice of eviction. So thanks to the previous owner Mr Ken Tinkler and Lexin there are now 10 unemployed people. Which we find amazing in this economic climate. We can only assume that big corporations do not care about the little guys (Enron and greed spring to mind) We tried our hardest and the investors even  flew from the UK to meet with Janice Payne of Lexin but they refused to correspond in any way. Lets just hope it doesn't stay vacant as long as the cinema
